Tickets are now on sale for the documentary Chasing Ice, winner of 23 awards, and the Cold War thriller, Barbara, named one of the top five foreign language films of 2012 by the U.S. National Board of Review.
 3pm: Chasing Ice, a stunningly beautiful documentary about climate change, was a sell-out at the 2012 Bermuda Docs Film Festival. The
winner of 23 festival awards, Jeff Orlowski's film follows National
Geographic photographer James Balog - once a climate-change skeptic - as
he brings to life the Extreme Ice Survey (EIS), a massive photography
project utilising 30 cameras across three continents to gather visual
evidence of the Earth's melting glaciers.
 5:15pm: Barbara, a Cold War thriller by Christian Petzold (Yella, Jerichow).
Winner
of the Best Director prize at the 2012 Berlin Film Festival, the film
was Germany's official Oscar submission for Best Foreign Language Film.
Both films screen at the Tradewinds Theatre, BUEI. Tickets are $15, available from the Oceans Gift Shop, BUEI, or by calling 297-7314.

This is a fantastic opportunity to show your support for BUEI by registering either as an individual or with a group. The entry fee is $25 per person and $20 goes directly to BUEI, with the remaining $5 going to The Centre on Philanthropy's Volunteer.bm programme.
The Centre on Philanthropy, in partnership with Argus, are thrilled
to launch the 2012 Walks the Walk, the 5K charity walk where the
participant selects which charity will benefit from their registration
fee. Participants pay a $25 registration fee of which $20 is donated to
the charity of their choice and the remaining $5 supports VOLUNTEER.bm,
the online one-stop shop for volunteering in Bermuda.

Teddy Tucker Marine Scholarship - Apply Now!
The
scholarship provides an opportunity for a student, age 7-13, to
participate in a one week BUEI camp. The Scholarship is awarded based on
academic achievement and personal interest. Applications are available
at the BUEI Oceans Gift Shop.
All applications must be submitted no later than March 31st, 2013.

new wine room at Harbourfront has been designed as an informal walk-in
wine list for diners who wish to select a special bottle for their meal.

or, alternatively, selecting a glass from their custom-designed wine
