Magic festival
From August 30 to September 2, 2013, you will be spellbound at the Québec City Magic Festival held in the new St-Roch district! The program comprises thirty shows featuring different types of prestidigitation, workshops and entertainment for the entire family, and a new event that is the highlight of the festival: the International Magic Competition. The winner will be declared on Sunday, September 1.

Hôtel Auberge du Quartier
In addition to the lush garden terrace with a stunning 360° view of Québec City, Auberge du Quartier is located close to many tourist attractions and offers all the modern amenities. Given the inn’s historical cachet, you will feel you have stepped back through time upon your arrival. The renovation work at this eco-responsible establishment has been completed, and the inn has expanded from 15 to 24 rooms.

Auberge du Quartier was recently awarded the Trip Advisor® Certificate of Excellence, which is only presented to the accommodation establishments that have been rated among the top 10% in the world.

Intimate concerts at the Seigneurie de l’île d’Orléans
An air of lavender

From July 6 to 14, 2013, the Seigneurie de l’île d’Orléans will host three intimate concerts at a beautiful open-air venue where the sweet fragrance of the nearby lavender bushes is wafted by a zephyr originating from the St. Lawrence River. The program for the event’s inaugural year will feature high-calibre artists: Roch Voisine, Patrick Norman and Marc Hervieux.

To protect the lavender bushes and the beauty of the site, only 2000 tickets will be sold for this innovative agri-tourism event.
